Daisy Chain (Slowly Slowly®)
Art Direction and Visual Id. for 'Daisy Chain', the new LP by Slowly Slowly, an Australian-based rock band.
Under the concept of 'The Young Poet' we wanted to give the entire project an editorial style giving to words and texts a leading role, combining a classic serif typeface with a contemporary san serif one.
As the main element, we worked on the daisy chain illustration based on the tattoo of the singer and frontman of the band, using one of the flowers for the disc design. For the illustration, we wanted to preserve the essence of the hand drawing by pixelating it afterwards to reinforce the union between the traditional and the contemporary.
